Hello everyone,
Have finally managed to upload some photos of the jewellery we made + gave as gifts this Christmas to family + friends and thought we'd like to share them with you.
Plus one of the necklace I made to go with my new dress - bought from Wallis and I thought at the time it seemed familiar. On going through our many bead boxes, I came across these beads which I'd had some time and, lo + behold, they virtually match the dress - how fab is that!

Good morning from Fat Fairy Jewellery!
Hello everyone, Happy Monday to all! How was your weekend? Didn't it go by far too quickly - yet again! We spent the weekend taking lots of photos for our website and also making the odd piece of jewellery. We did also pop over to Hinckley to go to Trafford Knitwear as they had a half-price sale - we felt it would have been rude not to go + visit if they have taken the trouble to reduce all their stock.....! Managed to not go to the bead shop in Hinckley which must be a first for Fat Fairy Jewellery! But as we really need to sort out our bead stash, we thought we had best tackle that first and then we can restock.
Wishing everyone a happy + productive week - very cold and frosty here in Warwickshire,
with love from us all at Fat Fairy Jewellery

Happy New Year from Fat Fairy Jewellery
Good evening everyone,
Fat Fairy Jewellery would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that Santa was kind to all (hopefully by bringing at least one piece of lovely jewellery.....!).
We've not made New Year Resolutions here at Fat Fairy Jewellery - instead we are calling them 'Hopes, Dreams + Inspirations'..... one of which is to blog more often! Having started off on a good note, the last couple of months of 2011 were very hectic for us with craft fairs, indulgence evenings etc + making presents for family + friends (some photo's of which we hope to post shortly)
We're looking forward to being able to share more of our jewellery with you all during 2012, till then we send our love for a happy, healthy + peaceful 2012 xx

Photos from Hampshire + Chichester
Hello everyone! As mentioned in our previous blog, Fat Fairy Jewellery has been off on their travels. As usual, my camera was one of the first things packed and we'd love to share some photos of one of our favourite places 'down south' - Emsworth Harbour and also the lovely Chichester Catherdral. We particularly like the one of Judy, our little Jack Russell taking the last of the summer sun at Emsworth - as Judy used to belong to my late Mum who also loved Emsworth, it felt very right to take Judy for a walk around the harbour wall!
Hope you enjoy the photo's of our travels - which did involve buying a few beads + buttons....!
with love from Fat Fairy Jewellery and the Jack Russell! xx

It's been a very hot day - almost too hot to make jewellery.......
Good evening all from what has been a very hot + humid day here in Warwickshire! Now trying to rain....so I guess that really is summer over and done with.
Fat Fairy Jewellery has had a busy couple of weeks since our last post as Debbie + I managed a long weekend back down in Hampshire where we used to live. It was lovely to be able to catch up with friends and Debbie + Paul's Godparents. Found a lovely B+B in Emsworth which accepted dogs, so that meant we could take Judy - our elderly Jack Russell with us. If you are ever down that way we can well recommend the Miller's House (www.millershouse.co.uk). Also managed a quick trip into Chichester which is another favourite place!
Have also been busy making jewellery for friends - posting photos of some lovely brooches I made and also a pair of lovely Rose Quartz ear-rings which were a birthday present for a friend. Attended the Beadelicous Bead Soiree at Bulkington yesterday which was great fun (www.beadelicious-beads.co.uk) and made a necklace, bracelet + pair of ear-rings! Have 3 craft fairs/indulgence evenings in the diary over the next month, so really need to get working on increasing our stock. The good news is that our website is very nearly ready to go live - very exicted about that....!
Even managed a baking session this week as we supported the MacMillan Cancer Care Biggest Coffee Morning at work on Friday and I made some Rocky Road, Chocolate Brownies and a Fruit Cake....! Now wonder I'm feeling just a little bit tired tonight......
Hope you like the photo's!

Good morning everyone! I can't believe how long it is since our last post and can only apologise. Not quite sure where August went - apart from the fact it was a very busy month! It saw the first visit home of my son and his fiancee's puppy - Ruby who is adorable. We managed to introduce her to our very elderly Jack Russell and they rubbed noses before barking at each other!
That same weekend saw Debbie and I attend the blessing of Louisa and Paul Crook (Louisa runs Beadelicious Beads and the workshops that I attend - can well recommend them!). They had got married down in Devon earlier but because some family members couldn't make the journey, they decided to have a blessing here at home - what a lovely afternoon and Louisa's Mum made the most wonderful cup cakes. Posting 2 photos below as proof!
Also posting a photo of the necklace I made to wear to the wedding with beads from Beadelicous Beads and also a necklace made at one of Louisa's workshops - have worn this many times now and it's got lots of comments. Also celebrated my birthday which was lovely as Debbie took me out for lunch at Hilltop Farm on the Fosse Way at Hunningham.
Thats all for now folks but will try and post again very soon - hope you enjoy the photos! love from Fat Fairy Jewellery xx

Sunday night already......
Hello everyone,
Happy August to one and all! August is one of my favourite times - probably because it also happens to be my birthday month and the last Bank Holiday before the one at the end of the year..... This weekend has gone by so quickly but wanted to give you all a very quick blog update before I head off to bed! Had a busy few weeks and a major decision made was to get some help with our website and now have a lovely lady doing some great work for us and hopefully very soon our website will be ready for the world to see! In the meantime, it has given us some much needed free time to devote our time + energy to making more jewellery! Had a lovely day out yesterday with my dear friend Gill over at Coton Manor Gardens in Northamptonshire - if you are ever nearby it is very worth a visit (see www.cotomanor.co.uk for further details) their flower borders are stunning. I know they are not jewellery designs but I'm going to try and load a couple of my photos up anyway as I just love these gardens and Gill was pretty impressed too!
