Beads, beads + more beads (with a little ribbon thrown in....)

Well, as promised, here are some photo's of the gorgeous gemstones + beads we purchased at the Towcester Bead fair.  We met some old favourite suppliers and made contact with some lovely new people!  There was certainly a lot of choice - as hopefully these photos will show.

Hope you enjoy looking at these beautiful beads as much as we enjoyed buying them and will love making some stunning pieces with them!

Monday morning already?

Good morning world!  This was meant to be posted on yesterday evening but not quite sure what happened to the weekend - once again!  Now it's Monday morning again, I feel like someone has stolen Sunday.......
With the weather being so awful (and, I gather, even worse to come this week - oh joy!), it gave us time to sit and make some more jewellery ready for the NAPTON HANDMADE MARKET this coming Sunday 29th which FAT FAIRY JEWELLERY will be having a stall at and supporting.  It's in a local village not far from us and has, I gather, gained quite a following, so we are really looking forward to taking part!
Some of our jewellery is still 'work in progress' and I will try and take some photo's of that later but thought you might like to see two fabulous bracelets recently created by our very talented Creative Director and for sale on our website (www.fatfairyjewellery.com).

Wishing you all a good week,
with love from us here at FAT FAIRY JEWELLERY!

Good evening from Fat Fairy Towers........

Well, it seems ages since we last posted on our blog and what a lot has happened in that time.  First of all I went away for a few days with my dear friends Beth + Rashna - not forgetting Teddy the border collie! We had a lovely few days down in Porlock which was lovely, unspoilt + very doggie friendly - which does makes a change this day + age. We enjoyed a lovely walk to Culbone Church which is in a beautiful spot - as this photo will hopefully prove!

The 2nd photo here is of Porlock Weir, the 3rd is the beach at Porlock which, as you can see, was deserted and just so tranquil + peaceful. The last photo is of these two lovely horses who we met on our last walk at Porlock before we headed off home!
Then we had the Easter break and I decided to start a spot of decorating.....  Then last Saturday Fat Fairy Jewellery was helping out at the first ever 'Pop-up' shop for our friends at Beadelicous Beads in The Ropewalk, Nuneaton.  Sunday saw Fat Fairy Jewellery visiting the Towcester Bead Fair which was held at Towcester Racecourse - what a beautiful venue.  Met lots of new bead suppliers and a few old friends and, needless to say, we were able to stock up with some gorgeous new beads.  I'm going to take a few photos of our new supplies and will post them over the next couple of days!
Hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoy sharing them with you!

Tiara Workshop

Just wanted to share some of the photo's taken last Saturday 17th at the Tiara Workshop run by the lovely Louisa at Beadelicious Beads HQ in Nuneaton.  3 of us took the course and it was a lovely day.  Although I had previously done a Tiara making course, it's always good to update one's skills and I find doing courses + workshops with different people good because everyone teaches in a different way and have different skills to offer you! We are now looking forward to being able to offer lots of bridal jewellery to any potential brides out there!

Have a good day!

Sunday night at Fat Fairy Towers.....

Hello everyone,
Hope this finds you all well.  Not quite sure where, yet again, another weekend has disappeared too!
Just a quick update to let everyone know that we now have a 'Bridal' page on our website (thanks to the lovely ladies at Jam Creative Marketing) and would be very happy to discuss any jewellery you might need for a wedding! As our 'Bridal' page says - Fat Fairy Jewellery loves weddings!
We are also very proud to be featured as the 'Bio' of the week on the lovely Craftslink website! www.craftlinks.org will take you to their front page where you will see a picture of us (well - me actually as our Creative Director doesn't like having her photo taken!).  This is our profile ID badge again just in case anyone missed it last time!
Wishing everyone a good week until we post next time, take care xx

Good news from Fat Fairy Jewellery!

I've always believed that there is a wealth of artistic talent here in the UK (and abroad before anyone starts shouting!).
And nothing proves it more than this lovely website that we have just been accepted to join called Craftslink (www.craftslink.org).  It is a showcase for some very talented artists and Fat Fairy Jewellery feels very honoured to have been accepted.
We really look forward to working alongside Craftslink and hopefully getting to meet some of the other artists along the way!
